Visual Arts

Beyond teaching techniques, the Visual Arts program at Morris Catholic seeks to help students develop new skills and habits of mind. Students develop perseverance through working through setbacks to create a finished piece. They are able to make clear connections, express their ideas and gain skills in self-reflection. Students can progress through four years of Visual Arts, and can even continue to on to Advanced Placement Studio art courses and create complex portfolios. The work of our art classes is showcased at two Art Shows on campus, and through many external festivals, competitions and showcases.
