Morris Catholic encourages students to participate in both athletics and arts and offers both curricular and extracurricular theatre opportunities so students are not limited by their schedules.

Box Office

This year's fall play, The Play That Goes Wrong, featured six performances in one weekend in our KPAC. The show featured multiple casts and dedicated crew made up of students. Over forty students were involved in this production. This play performed to record numbers of audience member, included a dress rehearsal for eighth-graders from four Catholic elementary schools.

Theatre Studies 3 & 4 Honors are proud to present their original one-act play, Picture Perfect. The play is completely written, directed and produced by the students in honors-level theatre class and features the talents of our current ninth and tenth graders. The play tells the story of what happens when a family is mysteriously called together for dinner, and what joy and chaos ensue. Performances are March 14 & 15 at 7 pm in the KPAC. Visit the Box Office link above for tickets.

Prepare ye the way for our 2024 spring musical, Godspell. Using the updated script and score from the 2011 Broadway Revival, this production will occur on April 25, 26 and 27 in our gymnasium. The show's director, Ms. Amy Bauer, first saw Godspell at Morris Catholic 2020, and went on to direct it during her first year teaching at Morris Catholic in 2011. Any members of those casts should reach out to abauer@morriscatholic.org for complimentary tickets and more information about how to reconnect with MC.

Calling performers in grades 5-8!

Calling all performers grades 5-8! We are looking to create a youth ensemble to perform in some songs/scenes in our production of Godspell! We are setting our production in Times Square, New York, and are looking for performers of many ages to help create the bustling crowds. This is a great opportunity to perform in a full-scale high school production! If you are interested in participating or learning more information, please contact Amy Bauer at abauer@morriscatholic.org.
