Student Leadership and Government

Student Leadership and Government

The Student Government at Morris Catholic is composed of dedicated representatives elected by their peers to voice the collective interests and ideas of the student body. This group serves as a bridge between students, faculty, and administration, advocating for improvements and addressing concerns to enhance the overall school environment.

Beyond representing their classmates, Student Government members play a key role in organizing fundraisers for both service projects and school-wide initiatives, in addition to providing support at various school functions. Through their involvement, students acquire valuable skills that complement their academic learning, expanding their horizons and developing their capabilities in leadership, collaboration, and community service. This engagement not only enriches their Morris Catholic experience but also prepares them for future endeavors beyond our doors.

MC Leads/Senior Leadership Team

The MC Leads program at Morris Catholic is a cornerstone of our commitment to fostering leadership and initiative among our students. This selective program empowers students to take an active role in shaping the academic, social, and spiritual life of our school community. Participants in MC Leads are given the unique opportunity to plan, develop, and execute a wide array of programs that enrich the lives of their peers and enhance the overall Morris Catholic experience. Entry into this prestigious program is based on faculty and staff recommendations, ensuring that those chosen have demonstrated exceptional character, leadership, and involvement in the classroom, through athletics and the wider community. By recognizing and nurturing the potential of these upstanding members of our school community, MC Leads not only cultivates  future leaders but also reinforces the values of service, community, and excellence that define Morris Catholic.
