About the Head Coach: Rahim Huland El.
Our previous girls’ Basketball Head Coach, Billy Lovett, has made the difficult decision to leave Morris Catholic for a terrific opportunity to become the Assistant Head Coach at Sienna College. We are grateful to Billy for what he has accomplished at Morris Catholic and the legacy of excellence he has given to our school and our student-athletes.
Associate Head Coach, Rahim Huland El, has been named the new Head Coach for our Girls' Basketball Program. Rahim spent the last six years helping the team receive national recognition while winning three consecutive Morris County championships and back-to-back state championships. Before MC, he spent 8 years as the head coach of several national-level girls' AAU teams. These teams competed on the regional and national levels and produced several players who went on to play college and professional basketball. He has also worked as a basketball skills trainer, training several future NCAA and professional basketball players.
Prior to his coaching profession, Coach Rahim was an All-State high school basketball player. He later played NCAA Division 1 basketball at the University of Vermont, where he was an all-conference basketball player and track and field performer.
College & Beyond:
- 2024 Gradutes Madison Miller and Alexis Rosenfeld committed to Division I schools. Miller will attend Upstate University and Rosenfeld will attend.
- Mia and Mya Pauldo, '25, have both committed to the University of Tennessee after graduation.
