Science Department: Biology, Anatomy & Physiology
Dr. Landsman will be joining the Morris Catholic community this year! She will be teaching biology, AP biology, and Anatomy and Physiology. Dr. Landsman is a highly qualified professional who has experience teaching chemistry, biology and technology at the post-secondary level, as well as chemistry at Loyola University of Maryland. In these positions Dr. Landsman has learned how essential it is to be a motivating and inspiring instructor and staff member. She prides herself of the high expectations that she sets for herself and her students.
Dr. Landsman received her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Delaware State University. She studied the impact of non-cognitive factors on participation and retention rates of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors in an HBCU setting. Furthermore, Dr. Landsman has received her administrative I certificate from Towson University, her Masters of Science from Niagara University, and her Bachelors of Science degree in biology pre-med from Siena College. In her free time, Dr. Landsman enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her puppy Milo, and traveling to new and exciting places.
