Yearbook Archives

Welcome to the Yearbook Archive!

Our goal for the future is to have all of our yearbooks posted on their 25th anniversary.  Until then, stick around and watch us upload the ones we've missed!

We have tried to make each of these yearbooks searchable to the best of our ability.  Most names are easily discovered with the search key, but some others might take a little digging!  We apologize!

Names of the graduating class and of those who were noted as "In Memoriam" in the yearbooks are listed if you select "The Class of XXXX" drop down.

We try to list fun facts at the end of our page based on the information in the yearbooks provided.  We also are sure to include our ad pages because we can learn a lot about our past from what businesses were around in our little "hub of Morris County."

Have a PDF of your yearbook?  Forward it to [email protected] so that we can upload it today!

In Memoriam
Richard ReCasino
Nancy Henry

Two members of the Class of '62 reached the Eternal Commencement before their classmates.  Both Nancy Henry and Richard ReCasino passed away before they had even begun their sophomore year at Morris Catholic High School.

Although both these students were allotted such a short time at Morris Catholic, nevertheless they have claimed forever a place in the memory of their classmates.

Nancy cannot be recalled without seeing a sunny smile and a cheerful willingness to help anyone she could.  Her sweetness affected all who knew her.

Richard's smile was gentle, his voice reserved.  He was unfailingly generous with his time and his assistance, always sincere in his actions.

Keenly aware of their loss, the Class of '62 even when scattered, will find Nancy and Richard often in their thoughts and, even more often, in their prayers: Requiescant in pace.

FUN FACTS
  • In the sports section of the 1961 & 1962 Shields, you see a team mentioned in photos/on the schedules named O.L.L.  This was the original name of Pope John XXIII High School in Sparta--Our Lady of the Lake.  They would change their name following Pope John XXIII's death.
  • The Roxbury Shop-Rite sponsored the 1962 Shield!
  • The 1963 Shield makes mention of Bingo--our mascot, watch dog, and friend.
  • MC's JV football team in 1963 was undefeated!
