The Music Program at Morris Catholic
Musicians and singers of all skill levels will find a way to develop their interest or their passions at Morris Catholic. This all-inclusive program includes both large scale classes and groups, as well as individualized music instruction. In our Music Classes like MC Singers Choir, Concert Band, Piano Class, and Music Theory, students from various grade levels learn in a group setting, and perform as a group at our two annual concerts in the Winter and Spring.
Students who do not choose Music as an elective may participate in our after school music programs such as:
  • Music Ministry- singers and instrumentalists learn and perform liturgical music
  • Pit Orchestra- instrumentalists rehearse and perform alongside professional musicians for our annual spring musical
  • Crusaders Choir- an after-school choir program that learns the repertoire of MC Singers and performs in our annual concerts and other school assemblies and community events
  • The "Carmen Fidelium" Elite Choir- an audition-based choir program featuring elite singers who perform at prestigious events. Their debut event will be this March at Carnegie Hall as part of the Manhattan Concert Productions' Octavo Series Choral performances.
