Boys Lacrosse Head Coach  

Morris Catholic High School is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to lead our boys lacrosse program.

Applicants must be able to work well with young men in large groups, ages 14-18, and must be qualified to coach at the high level expected of a New Jersey high school team.  Experience is necessary. 

Responsibilities include: ability to coach the game of lacrosse in a highly competitive league, county and state levels of play, maintain track of uniforms and equipment, and communicate effectively with players, parents, other members of the MCHS coaching staff, and administration.

Bus Driver

Morris Catholic High School, located in Denville, NJ, is seeking a cooperative and respectful team player for the position of Athletics Bus Driver to be responsible for transporting athletes to and from away contests in a safe and efficient manner. This is a part-time, academic year position working up to 25 hours per week at a rate of $30.00 per hour.  Requirements for the position include previous experience operating large passenger vehicles; a safe driving record, a valid driver’s license, and CDL with P & S endorsement.  Candidates must be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check and a criminal background check and have knowledge and understanding of all motor vehicle laws and safe driver guidelines.  Interested candidates should forward their resume to hr@morriscatholic.org.  

Teacher of Music

Morris Catholic High School, located in Denville, NJ, seeks a music teacher for the current school year. Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in music. A master’s degree is preferred.  Candidates should also be certified or be in the process of acquiring certification.  The ideal candidate will also possess strengths in the performing arts and have a background in Catholic liturgical music.  Morris Catholic boasts an exceptional performing arts program and a strong Campus Ministry program.  Our music teacher will be involved in both.  Morris Catholic seeks candidates who will fully embrace its Catholic mission, to strengthen young men and women intellectually and spiritually so they can develop character, respect for community and lifelong commitment through the love of Christ.   Interested candidates should forward resume and list of references to Robert A. JV Girls Lacrosse Head Coach

Morris Catholic High School is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to lead our JV girl’s lacrosse team.  Applicants must be able to work well with young people, ages 14-18, and must have experienced playing the sport. Coaching experience preferred, but not required. Must have effective communication skills, a strong sense of community connection, ability to motivate and educate student-athletes athletically.

Responsibilities include: Ability to instruct the basic fundamentals of lacrosse; be able to work with and motivate students of various skill levels; and be committed to building a program that is in line with the varsity program.

Season begins mid-February 2019 and ends mid-May. Practice times vary Monday through Saturday. Must be able to travel with team to/and from away games.

Girls Lacrosse Varsity Assistant Coach

Morris Catholic High School is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to assist our Head Coach with the Varsity girl’s lacrosse team.  Applicants must be able to work well with young people, ages 14-18, and must have experience playing the sport. Coaching experience is preferred, but not required. Must have effective communication skills, a strong sense of community connection, ability to motivate and educate student-athletes athletically.

Responsibilities include: Assisting head coach with the organization and administration of the varsity team, coordinate and manage team community service event, assist head coach during practice sessions to give proper instructions and individual and team feedback, provide comprehensive coaching to team that align with head coach’s philosophy. Monitor all players during practice sessions to identify strengths and weaknesses of each individual.

Season begins mid-February 2019 and ends mid-May. Practice times vary Monday through Saturday. Must be able to travel with team to/and from away games.
