MC Awarded at the 2018 Morris County Teen Arts Festival

Congratulations to the Fine and Performing Arts Department at Morris Catholic! On May 18, 2018, the department traveled to the County College of Morris to compete against schools from throughout the county in Music, Dance, Theatre, and Visual Art. We are proud to announce the acclaim received from the festival.
Morris Catholic Dance Company: Outstanding Tap Ensemble for "Newsies"
The Dance company is currently in its first year at Morris Catholic, under the direction of Kate McMurray. The group competed against dance studios, competition teams, and schools within the county. We are so proud of our dancers for being honored in their initial year.
Carmen Fidelium Choir: Large Group Certificate of Excellence
Our Carmen Fidelium Choir is in its second year at Morris Catholic, under the direction of Kathleen Donahue. As an elite audition based choir, they have already taken the stage at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. This is their second year competing in the Teen Arts Festival and second time receiving an award for their work.
Fine Arts Awards:
The Fine Arts Department under the direction of Arlene Sullivan had three students honored for their work. Ranging from Visual Arts II through AP 2D Design students we are proud to announce our students' achievement.
