Parent Information Evening – Kids and Screen Time
So, what are the effects of all this screen time and how should parents manage it at home? The use of technology by our students has increased exponentially over the last decade. Most teens would find even a short separation from their smart phone stressful. While these new technological tools offer significant opportunities for learning, we all question how much screen time is valuable and healthy for students. What are the consequences of technological ubiquity for our children and how do we best parent in this environment?
Join us as we explore this important topic on Tuesday, February 20th, at 7:00 PM. Clinical child and adolescent psychologist, Dr. Matthew D’Urso, and Mr. Robert Flynn will present on current research and offer practical recommendations. We will meet in the library.
Please make time to attend this parent information evening.
