MC Coffee House Held

On Friday October 25th, the Drama Club Hosted its annual Halloween Coffee House. For those who aren’t familiar with this aspect of MC, a Coffee House is a night hosted by the Drama Club featuring performances and theatre games. These nights are generally hosted once a month and often have a theme that is incorporated in the games and performances of the evening. Sign up sheets are posted on the door of the KPAC in the days leading up to a Coffee House. Anyone can perform or participate in games and it only costs $5 at the door to enter.

This year’s Halloween Coffee House featured a Haunted Escape Room experience in addition to the usual performances and food. Many students turned out for the event, taking the opportunity to dress in costume. Acts were numerous and included songs, monologues, and poems performed by first time and long time performers alike. Some even performed in costume, including Aidan D’Addabbo as Freddie Mercury. The usual Christmas Coffee House is being replaced this year with a special treat for the school. The Theatre 3 and 4 Honors classes will be producing a production of the play "It's a Wonderful Life." There will be performances on 12/13 and 12/14.
