Scholarships & Financial Aid

Morris Catholic High School is strongly committed to recognizing excellence and academic potential of our incoming freshmen and committed to meeting the demonstrated financial needs of all our families.

The following is a summary of scholarship, grant and aid opportunities available to freshmen entering MC in September, 2009. Please note application deadlines; complete and submit your applications in a timely fashion. Late applications will not be reviewed. Students are not permitted to simultaneously receive multiple Morris Catholic merit scholarships. In cases when a student qualifies for more than one scholarship, the award of greater value will be made.

  • Blessed Pauline Scholarship Program is named in honor of Blessed Pauline, the foundress of the Sisters of Christian Charity, who have staffed MCHS since its formation in 1957.   An applicant must be recommended by his or her parish pastor and school principal as an incoming freshman that demonstrates excellence in academics and exemplifies the MC spirit of “More Character, More Community, More Commitment.”   Students from parishes of the Diocese of Paterson, as well as neighboring dioceses, are eligible for these four-year, partial scholarships valued at $500 to $2,000/year.   These awards are established to assist families who may only be able to attend Morris Catholic with the financial benefit of this program.   Blessed Pauline Scholar applicants will be reviewed and selected by a Morris Catholic scholarship committee.   Applications for this merit scholarship are available through the MCHS Advancement Office and must be submitted by December 30, 2008.
