The Digital Learning Revolution Tour Comes to MC!

Posted June 27, 2012

The average high schooler's backpack, which can weigh about 30 lbs., contains several textbooks, multiple notebooks, and volumes of loose paper handouts, causing much back pain, fatigue and disorganization. For these reasons and more, Morris Catholic has decided to introduce the iPad as a learning tool for the 2012-13 academic year. Our first year goal is to decrease textbooks by 30%, and help our students organize their academic lives digitally.

Morris Catholic would like to share with you an opportunity that makes digital learning even more exciting.

On July 17, we will host the Digital Learning Revolution tour bus, which will provide our students and parents with several workshops that you won't want to miss. You can learn more about iSchool Initiatives, the organization behind the DLR, by clicking here.

To pre-register for this event, please click here. There will be a number of free workshops related to digital learning offered to parents and students.

We are excited to host the DLR for one night, and I hope to see you there.

The Digital Learning Revolution Tour (DLR) run buy the iSchool Iniaitive will be at MC from 6pm-8pm, Tuesday July 17th. The evening will include an opening keynote about digital leanring and iPads in an educational enviornment as well as multiple breakout sessions and panels for students, educators, and parents.
