Paying for a Catholic education is an investment in your daughter or son’s future. Morris Catholic High School affords scholarships and grants that may help with the financing of your child’s education.

2012-2013

All scholarship applications must be submitted by the specified due dates and will be reviewed by the Advancement Scholarship Committee. All applications are available through the Advancement Office. Should a student be placed on Academic or Disciplinary Probation, he or she may become ineligible to retain their scholarship.

Blessed Pauline Scholarship Program

Named in honor of Blessed Pauline, the foundress of the Sisters of Christian Charity, the Blessed Pauline Scholarship rewards students who demonstrate a well‐rounded commitment to Catholic education and who demonstrate financial need. This is a four year, partial scholarship in ranges from $500‐$2000 per year. Due date: 12/31/11

Morris Catholic Academic Scholarships

These academic scholarships are granted to ten (10) incoming freshmen per year to whose Cooperative Entrance Exams (COOP) are in the highest percentiles.

Christopher Harris Thomas Scholarship

This scholarship is given in memorial of Christopher Harris Thomas, after whom our gymnasium is named. This scholarship is given to one student who exhibits leadership in his or her middle school and is considered a role model for other students. Scholarships are for $1000 per year. Fr. Paul Manning President’s Scholarships

The President’s Scholarships are given to incoming freshmen in awards ranging from $500‐$1000 for the freshman year only. Named in honor of Fr. Paul Manning, past President of Morris Catholic High School, these scholarships recognize citizenship and service among incoming freshmen. A letter from a principal is needed in order to qualify for this award. Due date: 12/31/11

Catholic School & Parish Employee Grants

Students who have a parent who is a full‐time employee at either a Catholic school or parish are eligible for this scholarship. These grants are $1,000 per year per eligible student, contingent on annual reapplication.

Alumni Grants

Students who have one or more parents who are alumni of Morris Catholic High School are eligible for an Alumni Grant. These grants are $500 per family per year.
